We know that bath towel reviews don't sound like the most exciting things to read, but let's be honest - everyone needs them and there is so much choice! Have you looked at what is available these days when it comes to bath towels?

The colours, styles, materials and sizes that the market offers are simply bewildering, and there are some superb quality items to be had at wonderful prices. Co-ordinating your colour scheme involves making sure all of your accessories are correctly matched, and that includes bath towels, too! We took a look at a few different areas of the market, starting with embroidered bath towels.

The beauty of embroidered bath towels is that they offer a little something extra; while the majority of towels are plain there is much to be had by adding a little personal embroidery or a neat pattern to the towel and its accessories, and we found some excellent embroidered sets that would look great in any room, never mind just the bathroom

We also went down the route of investigating the modern preference for microfiber bath towels; as opposed to traditional cotton, this more modern material is a mix that offers great softness and durability, excellent washing characteristics and a superb feel, and also deals with water in a much more scientific manner making it more usable and efficient. Many manufacturers are recognizing the merits of microfiber and are including such towels in their range, meaning we all have more choice all round.

Oversized bath towels are our favourites, and we found some superb cotton giants - singles and sets - at excellent process that offer the comfort and luxury provided by the all encompassing huge towel, and the very thought of stepping out of a bath or shower and wrapping up in one of our selections is enough to persuade anyone to buy!

Finally we looked at the popular line of kids bath towels, one of the most important of all; bath time can be a chore for both child and mum, or dad, and when it comes to injecting a bit of fun into it we were overwhelmed by the sheer variety of designs, styles and innovations - from patterned and shaped towels to those with hoods- that the market has to offer.

Mundane items they may be but there is no reason why our towels should not be attractive and matching, or even fun and frivolous, and that's why we hope that our bath towels reviews have at least given you an idea of the sheer variety available.
